Fort Island Completion will Provide Biggest Event Space

Madinat Jumeirah is one of the best and also the most popular hotels in the UAE. The hotel is currently busy with the expansion and renovation of its Fort Island. It is said that when this expansion is finally complete by October this year, Madinat Jumeirah will become the hotel with the largest space for hosting of various events in the whole of the United Arab Emirates. Margaret Paul, who is the General Manager at the resort, is very happy and excited as renovation reaches its end. She said that once completed, Fort Island will be the most exclusive outdoor space for hosting of events. 

 Margaret said that this expansion proves the commitment of the resort to work continuously to improve the user experience. The resort remains more than ready to receive guests who hold weddings, anniversaries, conferences, exhibitions, and other prestigious events here. The GM added that the newly built space will exceed the expectations of the clients and they will find it suitable for all sorts of events.

The current expansion of Fort Island increases its capacity to hold cocktail event for 1400 people as against the earlier capacity of just 425 people. Similarly, there will be space for 1100 people for banquets as against earlier capacity of only 250 people. Fort Island provides glimpses of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah to its guests. It is also strategically located in the midst of alluring waterways of Madinat Jumeirah. This is not all as this resort is situated close to the 600 seat Madinat Theater and Jumeirah Al Salam, one of the most magnificent hotels in the UAE.

Fort Island will remain a part of the Conference Centre of Madinat Conference. This expansion will increase the capacity of this centre to 10000 sq m from the current 9000 sq m. This conference centre not only sponsors Art Dubai but also hosts international events like World Economic Forum and Dubai International Film Festival.
